REMEMBER 2013+HAPPY NEW YEAR

EN: It‘s been a big year of doing many different things and trying to find myself. Big year of cooking, growth, dreaming and future planning. Where do I even begin? Am I better today than I was yesterday? What is your view on what makes a ‘good’ year? Personally, I like to measure it by growth. It means so many positive things to me, it allows me to see if I become better in a year and it doesn’t matter that sometimes it is associated with pain or hard times. It’s as I like to call it ‘growing pains’. In order to achieve something, you always have to take risks, explore, sometimes sacrifice good things to get better ones. It’s all about balance. When you review your 2013, make sure you count every single accomplishment followed by the ‘growing pains’ and you will then see how much was it worth and how strong you are or have become.

This year (6 month ago from now) I opened my blog and tried to learn something new together with you all! I am so honored to be able to share things with you muffins. Who knows what coming year will bring, but we always do hope for the best. I hope that 2014 will be full of all your favorite things. Life is so cute when you pay attention to the details. Have you tried? What are your goals for 2014? Mine is to continue having a healthy and sporty lifestyle, I want to grow there even more, learn more and do more.

For an extraordinary year try to become a mentally strong person having healthy habits. To become one try to manage your emotions, thoughts and behaviors in ways that would set you up for success in life. And never ever waste your energy on the things that you can’t control. Sometimes the only thing that we can control is our attitude, which makes a huge difference in every situation.

I hope you will find yourself. This may require a few ‘New Year’. But it should be fun.

LTU: Šie metai buvo nuostabūs. Kupini įvairiausių dalykų ir bandymų atrasti save. Daug maisto gaminimo, augimo, svajonių ir ateities planavimo. Nuo ko man pradėti? Ar šiandien esu geresnė nei buvau vakar? Ką jums reiškia ‘geri ir sėkmingi’ metai, kas juos padaro tokiais? Asmeniškai aš tai matuoju ‘augimu’. Tai leidžia man pamatyti labai daug teigiamų dalykų, sužinoti kur tapau geresne ir nesvarbu, kad kartais visa tai yra susiję su skausmu ar sunkmečiu. Tai vadinu “augimo skausmais”. Norint pasiekti kažką, kad visada turime rizikuoti, tyrinėti, kartais paaukoti gerus dalykus dėl mūsų manymu geresnių. Pusiausvyra. Sugrįžkite sekundėlei atgal ir peržiūrėkite savo 2013 metus, įskaičiuojate kiekvieną pasiekimą kartu su “augimo skausmais”, nes būtent tada pamatysite kokia viso to kaina ir kokie stiprūs jūs tapote.

Šiais metais (prieš šešis mėnesius) atidariau savo blog’ą ir bandžiau išmokti daug naujų dalykų kartu su jumis. Džiaugiuosi, kad turiu galimybę su jumis dalintis viskuo, ką mėgstu. Kas žino, ką atneš Naujieji Metai, bet mes kaip visada tikimės geriausio. Tiesa? Tikiuosi, kad 2014 bus pilni jūsų mėgstamų dalykų. Gyvenimas yra nuostabus ir toks mielas, kai atkreipi dėmesį į mažesnes jo detales. Ar kada tai bandei? Kokie Tavo tikslai 2014? Manieji vis sukasi apie sveiką ir sportišką gyvenimo būdą, džiaugiuosi galėdama sakyti, kad atradau save. Noriu augti ir tobulėti, mokytis daugiau ir daryti daugiau.

Kad ateinantys metai būtų dar geresni, siūlau būti stipriu žmogumi, turinčiu sveikus įpročius. O norėdamas toks tapti, turi valdyti savo emocijas, mintis ir elgesį taip, kad tai padėtų Tau pasiekti sėkmę gyvenime. Niekada nebegaišk laiko ir neeikvok savo energijos dalykams, kurių Tu negali kontroliuoti. Svarbiausias dalykas, kurį mes GALIME kontroliuoti yra mūsų požiūris, kuris gali apversti viską aukštyn kojomis netgi paprasčiausiose situacijose.

Linkiu Jums atrasti save. Tam gali prireikti kelių ‘Naujųjų Metų’. Bet visa tai turėtų būti smagu.

SICK FOODS

Everyone around me (including me of course) is getting sick! Fortunately, I almost killed that devil, but it took me a week to do so. I just want to share some tips that always helps me to fight the flu.

When I get sick I do always feel like dying, everything hurts and it gets even worse when I have a high temperature. Then it’s better not to eat at all, because body is spending energy making you feel better again, trying to fight that flu. For about two days I always stay in bed like a vegetable. When I feel a little better, I always try to eat very healthy and nutritious foods that would help to fuel my body for that fight.

My top foods when sick:

1.Ginger- you can easily make your own ginger tea by just pouring boiling water over slices of ginger and honey.

2. Honey-this is very good for sore throat, always gives a relief. And one more benefit is that it’s very delicious.

3. Spicy foods- very good remedy indeed when you need to clear your sinuses.

4. Bananas- very easy for stomach, you will get loads of nutrients and your stomach won’t have to do much digesting that banana!

5. Orange juice- when you are sick it’s better to choose orange juice, not an actual fruit, because it is harder to digest. Of course, choose natural juices 100% pure fruit. Vitamins. Note: don’t drink cold!!!

6. Lemon- don’t have to outline anything, everyone knows, it always is a superfood.

7. Garlic and Onion- perfect for soups that are easy to digest.

This is some of the foods that I always always eat when I am sick and it helps me a lot.

Some tea suggestions:

1.Linden blossom tea (100% natural leaves)

2.Natural Thyme tea (100% natural leaves)

I do like to mix them both together if I have a high temperature and a sore throat. Works perfectly well.

3. Ginger and lemon

With every tea option I do always add a tablespoon of honey, because it relieves cough and promotes perspiration.
